Let's pair you with a puppy! 

We need dog lovers to provide cuddles and care for our Seeing Eye Dogs puppies on their training journey. With your guidance and support, a Seeing Eye Dogs puppy can grow up to make a life-changing impact for a person who is blind or has low vision. 

Before you join our community of dog-loving volunteers, an information session can let you know what’s involved and answer any questions you have. We also have some FAQs.

Meet and greet events

Our puppy caring community hold regular ‘meet and greet’ events with their puppy development trainers. Fun and informal, these catch ups are a great way to meet other carers and learn more about the rewarding experience of volunteering for Seeing Eye Dogs.

Moonee Valley Festival (VIC)

We are very excited to be attending the Moonee Valley Festival on Saturday, February 22, 2025.

While enjoying the festivities, why don’t you swing by and chat with our staff and volunteers about all things puppy caring?

The Pet Show (VIC)

Are you headed to the Pet Show this year? Come and see us at our stand, and we will be doing demonstration so you can see our pups in action!

This year the show will be at the Melbourne Showgrounds Saturday and Sunday, March 1 and 2.

Kawana Shopping Centre (QLD)

Come and see us for puppy cuddles and a chance to talk to us about puppy caring.

We will be at the Kawana Shopping Centre, 119 Point Cartwright Drive, Buddina QLD 4575 from 10am to 1pm (AEDT) on Thursday, March 6, 2025.

Torquay Cowrie Market (VIC)

Come and see us for puppy cuddles and a chance to talk to us about puppy caring.

We will be at the Torquay Cowrie Markets on Elephant Walk, The Esplanade, Torquay VIC 3228 on Sunday, March 16, 2025 from 9am to 2pm (AEDT).

Whittlesea Community Festival (VIC)

Heading to the Whittlesea Community Festival this year? Come and see us at our stand, and chat to us about puppy caring for one of our gorgeous puppies or dogs.

The festival will be held at the Civic Centre Lawns, 25 Ferres Boulevard, South Morang VIC 3752 on Sunday, March 16, 2025 from 11am to 5pm (AEDT).

Portarlington Markets (VIC)

Come and see us for puppy cuddles and a chance to talk to us about puppy caring.

We will be at the Portarlington Markets located at W.G. Little Reserve, Portarlington VIC 3223 from 9am to 2pm (AEDT) on Sunday, March 23, 2025.
