Let's pair you with a puppy! 

We need dog lovers to provide cuddles and care for our Seeing Eye Dogs puppies on their training journey. With your guidance and support, a Seeing Eye Dogs puppy can grow up to make a life-changing impact for a person who is blind or has low vision. 

Before you join our community of dog-loving volunteers, an information session can let you know what’s involved and answer any questions you have. We also have some FAQs.

Information Session - in-person (VIC)

Come along, meet the team and there may even be an opportunity to have some puppy cuddles.

Meet and greet events

Our puppy caring community hold regular ‘meet and greet’ events with their puppy development trainers. Fun and informal, these catch ups are a great way to meet other carers and learn more about the rewarding experience of volunteering for Seeing Eye Dogs.

Carols by Candlelight (VIC)

Are you coming to sing along at Carols by Candlelight?  

Come and see us for puppy cuddles and a chance to talk to us about Puppy Caring.

We will be at the Sidney Myer Musical Bowl (Kings Domain Gardens, Linlithgow Ave, Melbourne) from 4pm AEDT, Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 December 2024.

Westfield Hornsby (NSW)

We will be having a group session on Tuesday 7 January 2025 for our puppies at Westfield Hornsby (236 Pacific Hwy, Hornsby NSW) between 12pm and 1pm so you can see how amazing our puppies are.

After our training, you will be able to come and have a chat with us at the Blu Eatery Café from 1pm to 2pm.

Craigieburn Central (VIC)

Doing a spot of back-to-school shopping? Come and visit us in the Kmart quadrant of Craigieburn Central shopping centre; 340 Craigieburn Rd, Craigieburn VIC on Friday 10 January 2025, from 10am to 4pm (AEDT)

Our staff, volunteers and puppies will be there to talk to answer any questions you may have about puppy caring.

Erina Centre (NSW)

We will be having a group session for our puppies at Erina Centre (236 Pacific Hwy, Hornsby NSW) on Friday 17 January 2025 between 1pm and 2pm, you may spot us as we wander the centre training our puppies. 

After our training, you will be able to come and have a chat with us at the Hive Café from 2pm to 3pm. 

Sunshine Plaza (QLD)

Trying to stay cool in the QLD heat? Our staff, volunteers and puppies will be set up near Kmart and can answer any questions you may have about puppy caring.
