About Udell
Udell is a sweet, affectionate dog who loves people and enjoys a calm, predictable routine. While he isn’t interested in working, he would make a wonderful companion for a family or someone looking for a therapy or school dog. He is environmentally sound, loves meeting new people, and thrives on companionship. Udell has a stubborn streak when he has his own ideas but is always willing to stay close to his humans.
Where I grew up
Udell grew up in a loving family home with two middle-school-aged children. He has not lived with other pets but enjoys meeting people and is generally very friendly.
A good fit for me is...
Udell would thrive in a home that doesn’t rely heavily on car travel, as he struggles with getting into vehicles and hasn’t responded to training in this area. His trainer will pass along some notes on his training to support his new family with this.
A home with a large backyard where he can run around and play would be ideal. He would also do well in a school or therapy setting, where he can share his affectionate nature with others.

Food Selective – Not interested in kibble but responds well to tasty treats for training.
Independent Thinker – Can be stubborn at times, preferring to make his own choices.
Easily Excited Around Other Dogs – Loves meeting new friends but gets very enthusiastic!
Crate Tolerant, But Not a Fan – Will stay in a crate but sometimes barks when confined.
Mild Separation Anxiety – May bark when left alone but has no noise sensitivities.
Mild Chewing & Digging Tendencies – Occasionally chews plastic items and may dig in the garden.
