About Taylor
Taylor is a sweet, affectionate, and playful young dog with a love for belly rubs, cuddles, and being around his people. Whether it’s napping in his crate, playing with his toys, or joining you for an adventure, Taylor is always eager to be part of the action.
He’s full of energy and enthusiasm, making him the perfect companion for an active family.
Taylor has decided to retire early from the Seeing Eye Dogs (SED) training program due to a high level of dog distraction that affects his ability to stay focused in training. While this makes him better suited to life as a much-loved pet, it doesn’t take away from his incredible personality and potential as a loyal companion.
Taylor is still learning to resist counter-surfing for tasty treats and can bark briefly for attention. His dog distraction is improving but will need continued support and training.
Taylor is an incredible companion for the right family—one who can match his energy, provide him with plenty of love, and continue to guide him as he grows into an even more amazing dog. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate friend, Taylor is ready to meet you!
Where I grew up
Taylor grew up in a household with two parents and three teenage/adult children. As the only pet in the home, he has been the center of attention and has flourished in a loving, family-oriented environment.
A good fit for me is...
Taylor would thrive in an active family that loves outdoor adventures, playtime, and long walks. He would be especially happy in a home with young or teenage children who enjoy engaging with him. Having another friendly dog in the family for companionship and play would be a big bonus for Taylor!
Taylor needs a family that can continue his training and support him as he improves his focus around other dogs. A secure yard to explore and dig in, plenty of soft toys, and a kong to keep him entertained are essential.
