About Miles

Meet Miles – a sweet and affectionate young dog who is looking for a calm, loving home to call his own. Miles has a history of noise sensitivity, which can make him anxious, particularly in new or noisy environments. Despite this, he is a playful boy who adores fetch, cuddles, and spending time with his people. With patience, structure, and love, Miles has the potential to thrive in the right home.

Where I grew up

Miles has been living with a mature couple in a quiet home with no other pets. He enjoys spending most of his time inside with his humans and has been well-mannered around the house. He loves his routines and feels safest when he knows what to expect.

A good fit for me is...

Miles would do best in a quiet household with stay-at-home or work-from-home humans who can give him consistency, reassurance, and plenty of affection. He would love a quiet neighbourhood with access to a small park for gentle walks, plus a secure yard for playtime and zoomies. Due to his anxiety, adopters must live within driving distance of Brisbane (no flights).

My personality traits

  • Gentle, loving, and very tactile – my favourite spot is between my human’s legs for cuddles.
  • Playful – I love fetch, zoomies, and chewing on leaves and twigs.
  • Calm and well-mannered inside the home.
  • Toilet trained – I sit at the door when I need to go out.
  • Good sleeper and can be left alone at home for up to 1–2 hours.
  • Still a pup at heart – eager to try new things, though I sometimes find them scary.
  • Nervous outdoors, especially with loud noises or sudden movements, but working on building my confidence.
  • Travel: sometimes hesitant to get into the car, but once inside I usually settle well.
