About Jupiter

Jupiter is an enthusiastic, playful, and affectionate boy who will brighten any home. He adores playing tug-of-war with other dogs, snuggling up for chin scratches, and exploring off-leash parks. With excellent house manners and a calm demeanor, he’s a joy to have around. Jupiter is great with kids, adaptable in various environments, and loves being part of the action—whether at home, work, or out and about.

Where I grew up

Jupiter has thrived in a relaxed suburban apartment with a single female carer. His environment has been calm and consistent, with plenty of opportunities to visit friends’ homes (including ones with multiple dogs), where he’s always settled in beautifully. He has also accompanied his carer to workplaces like offices and gyms, where he remains calm and composed.

A good fit for me is...

Jupiter would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of love, attention, and consistent opportunities to play and explore. He is ideal for someone who enjoys spending time with their dog, as Jupiter loves being close and involved. Due to his health condition, he needs frequent toilet breaks and access to plenty of water during the day, so a caregiver who works from home or can accommodate his needs is perfect. He settles well in a crate or on a tether if needed but thrives with opportunities for regular activity and companionship.

My personality traits

Affectionate and Playful: Jupiter is a happy, bouncy pup who lights up every room he walks into.

Well-Mannered: He has excellent house manners, sleeps peacefully through the night in his crate, and enjoys relaxing on his mat during the day.

Trainable: He responds exceptionally well to treat training and has made great progress with managing his excitement around other dogs.

Social: Jupiter is a people-loving pup who will make everyone feel special with his enthusiastic greetings.

Medical Information

Jupiter has a kidney abnormality that was recently discovered during an ultrasound. The specialist believes this may be due to congenital disease, or a previous injury.  While his condition is currently stable, he requires regular monitoring, with bloodwork recommended in six months and then annually.

Jupiter’s kidney function may remain stable or deteriorate over time. If it worsens, he may need a diet change and potentially medications. Currently, he requires plenty of water and frequent toilet breaks during the day but sleeps through the night without issue.
