Chai is a very lovable but energetic dog who thrives on companionship. She adores her people, especially when it comes to early morning cuddles—though she’s happy to accept cuddles at any time of the day! She is eager to please, well-mannered, and enjoys her daily walks on a head collar. Chai is looking for an active home where she can be with her family most of the time, offering her unconditional love in return.
Where I grew up
Chai grew up in a quiet household with two senior adults and no other pets. She has had plenty of one-on-one attention and enjoys being part of a close-knit home environment.

Chai would thrive in a loving home with a family who can provide structure, routine, and plenty of physical and mental stimulation. She would benefit from having a companion dog to help manage her energy, though she can be quite rough in play and will need guidance on appropriate interactions. A household with older children would be ideal, as she can be excitable and boisterous. She hasn’t been tested with cats.

- Loves Toys (But Not Cane Furniture!): She enjoys her toys but has a tendency to chew on wooden items, so plenty of appropriate chew toys will help keep her occupied and away from furniture.
- Crate-Trained & House-Friendly (With Boundaries!): She uses her crate at will, sleeps on her day bed, and has free run of the house, but she will need guidance on house manners.
- Sensitive to Loud Noises: While storms don’t bother her, sudden loud noises can startle her, so she appreciates a calm and reassuring environment.
