About Amigo

Amigo is a sweet-natured, affectionate young dog looking for a special forever home. He was withdrawn from the Seeing Eye Dogs program after being diagnosed with elbow dysplasia. Unfortunately, his case is quite severe, and he has already experienced lameness.

To give Amigo the best quality of life, he will require corrective surgery. Seeing Eye Dogs will cover the cost of this procedure post-adoption at our recommended specialist, within a pre-determined timeframe, so he can recover in the comfort of his new home.

Where I grew up

I was raised in a loving family with two adults and two teenagers (a 19-year-old male and a 17-year-old female). I shared my home with two black Labrador friends—an 8-year-old female and an 18-month-old male ex- SED). I’ve also experienced office life, regularly accompanying my carer to work in a small office of eight people, where I settled in beautifully.
