(0:00) Trevor walks outside to a bench reflecting on a life shaped by love and independence.

(0:05) Learn how his gift is helping create a brighter future through seeing eye dogs.

(0:09) My life with Pat, 61 years. We met through the church group. Kids loved her, had a good soul,

(0:20) heart of gold. She was a perfect woman. We did have several dogs. We had two corgis and then

(0:26) we finished up with the West Highlands area. She was full on but she was a beautiful dog.

(0:30) If you love that dog, they'll love you back. So that love for that dog taught me all about life.

(0:39) We sat in this room and talked about what were we going to do when that time came

(0:45) and we then decided that we would want to give to seeing eye dogs.

(0:50) Independence is very important to people. They need to be able to go out into the world and enjoy

(0:56) the things that the world are providing. I would say to anybody who's considering leaving for money

(1:02) in their world, that they would have the comfort in their minds to know that their money will be

(1:07) going to provide a dog that will give that person companionship and make them be able to enjoy the

(1:14) rest of their life with that help. Pat's memory has got to go on as well. She's the one that's

(1:21) been all the way through this. It was her thoughts, her plans and that's important to fulfil our wishes.

(1:29) You can walk alongside people with vision loss through a gift in your will.
