About Faris
Faris is a soulful and intelligent boy who is a bit of a “velcro” dog, happy to be close to his people. He is not continuing in the Seeing Eye Dog program due to his sometimes dog distraction. He would best suit a structured home life with a family or individual who love being out and about. A dog friend would be a bonus. Faris walks with no pulling in a head collar, great for busy dog areas, and can also work well in a harness or flat collar. He happily sleeps in his crate, and is equally content relaxing on his day-bed.
Where I grew up
Faris will do well in a variety of households, though a calm and structured environment would best suit his soft nature. A family or individual with an interest in dog training and/or agility would be ideal, as he’s both intelligent and eager to learn. Although a big boy, Faris is agile and athletic. A suburban or semi-rural home with a secure yard would be ideal, as would the company of another friendly dog.
