About Inari
Inari is a happy, affectionate Labrador with a trusting nature and a genuine love of people. She was career changed from the Seeing Eye Dogs program because she found other dogs far more interesting than her work, making her unsuitable for guiding a person who is blind or has low vision.
She is a delightful companion who approaches life with enthusiasm, confidence, and a wagging tail. Inari settles beautifully at home and enjoys being involved in whatever her family is doing.
Where I grew up
I grew up in a suburban home with a mature-aged couple who provided me with a structured, loving environment. My days were filled with walks, playtime, outings, and plenty of opportunities to learn.
A typical day included breakfast, walks, training games, backyard play, shopping trips, visits with friends, and relaxing time indoors with my toys. I enjoy having company and like to be where my people are, often finding ways to "help" around the house.
I have been exposed to everyday household routines and am comfortable with general house rules. While I will occasionally choose to rest in my crate, I much prefer being close to my family.
