About Daabak
Meet Daabak, a joyful, enthusiastic girl who loves being part of whatever is happening around her. She is incredibly friendly, full of personality, and approaches life with excitement and optimism.
Daabak is a very smart dog who learns quickly and responds exceptionally well to training. She enjoys having a job to do, loves engaging in games and puzzle activities, and thrives when given opportunities to use her brain as well as her energy.
While Daabak is affectionate and loving, she is not a couch potato. She prefers play and activity over extended cuddle sessions and enjoys affection on her own terms. Her expressive eyes and playful nature make her a wonderful companion who brings smiles wherever she goes.
Daabak has previously had some minor, treatable ear infections and skin irritation around her chin/lip folds. These have responded to routine veterinary care, and her most recent SED veterinary check found no abnormalities. Her adopters should monitor her ears and skin as part of normal care, including keeping her chin area clean and dry if needed.
Where I grew up
I grew up in an inner-city apartment with two adults and two primary school-aged children.
I was very much part of family life and came along to school drop-offs, children's activities, family outings, shopping trips, and social events. Because of this, I am comfortable in busy environments and confident in lots of different settings.
My typical day included walks, training sessions, playtime, opportunities to sniff and explore, and plenty of rest. I have experience sleeping and relaxing in a crate and am happy to settle when my physical and mental needs have been met.
A good fit for me is...
I am looking for an active home that enjoys getting out and about and includes me in daily life.
I would love a family with children, another friendly dog, or people who enjoy training and spending time outdoors. I have plenty of energy and benefit from regular exercise, opportunities to run and play off leash, and activities that keep my mind busy.
A home with a secure yard would be fantastic, although what's most important is having people who can provide regular enrichment, training, and opportunities for adventure.
I can be strong on leash at times, but I walk nicely using a head collar. I can get excited when meeting people and may jump up to say hello, so my new family should be prepared to continue helping me practise polite greetings.
My personality traits
Friendly and Social
I love people and make friends easily with both humans and dogs. I genuinely enjoy being around others and want to be included in the action.
Fun and Playful
Whether it's a game, puzzle, training session, or a trip somewhere new, I'm always ready for fun. I much prefer active interaction over sitting still.
Smart and Trainable
I am a quick learner and enjoy training. Positive reinforcement works wonderfully for me, and I love earning praise and rewards.
Energetic and Enthusiastic
I approach life with excitement and can sometimes get a little carried away. I may jump up for attention, become vocal when excited, and can find it difficult to settle if I haven't had enough activity.
Loving and Empathetic
I adore children and have a naturally joyful presence. I am happiest when I am part of family life and sharing experiences with the people I love.
A Wonderful Companion
At the end of the day, I am a sweet, playful girl with a big heart, a big personality, and plenty of love to give. With an active family who can provide structure, training, and fun, I will be a loyal and entertaining companion.
