Bindi is still developing her ability to stay connected with her handler, especially in busy or stimulating environments. She can become highly engaged with external distractions and may respond with pulling or lunging on lead. She has also shown moderate signs of stress during heightened moments and benefits from support to help her regulate.
Bindi’s release from the program reflects that she is better suited to a companion home where her energy and responsiveness can be supported through ongoing training, rather than the specific consistency required for guide work.
