About Julia

Julia is a gentle, affectionate dog who loves being close to her people. She’ll happily roll over for a belly rub and enjoys calm, relaxed company.
At home, Julia is incredibly settled. She can be trusted to free roam when left alone, including overnight, and shows consistently good home behaviour.
Julia is currently on fluoxetine to help her adjust to change. We recommend her new home continues this during her transition, with the option to review this with a vet over time.

Where I grew up

Julia has grown up in a structured and supportive home environment, where she has developed strong home settling skills and a reliable routine.
She is used to spending time both independently and alongside people, and thrives when her environment is predictable and calm.

A good fit for me is...

Julia would suit:
A calm, consistent household
Adopters who are patient and happy to support her through change
A home that values companionship over high-demand training expectations
Things to consider:
She is best walked in a head collar, as she can pull and become a frantic walker
Ongoing loose-lead training will be important
She is not suited to guide work, as she does not have the resilience required for complex and unpredictable environments

My personality traits

Affectionate: Loves people and physical closeness
Calm at home: Settled, reliable, and comfortable being left alone
Sweet-natured: Gentle and easy to live with
Sensitive to change: Benefits from routine and support during transitions
Energetic on lead: Can pull and walk with urgency, but manageable with the right equipment
