Short term care encompasses dogs from all areas of our training program; from puppies to dogs in training, to graduated dogs that would benefit from a rest in a home environment. The puppies/dogs can be anywhere from 8 weeks to a few years old. Some of these dogs will go into foster care with a SED coat and can accompany you on walks and outings. If a puppy, the pups are taught basic obedience, toileting routine and how to maintain excellent home and social behaviours, they are still learning and need guidance to get by distractions. Dog will settle-in as part of the family but you would be expected to maintain its basic obedience, toileting routine and excellent home and social behaviours. As our breeding dogs are not de-sexed, no off-lead exercise is allowed. All SED breeding dogs are provided with a ‘blue coat’ so they can accompany you on outings. Dogs ‘in season’ will need to be brought to SED Headquarters. Training Dog Caring - Currently only available in Buderim/Maroochydore. Our trainers will collect the dogs from your home in the morning (Monday to Friday) and drop them back in the afternoon. The dogs are likely to be between 12-18 months of age.
